While trying to clean out folders on my laptop to free up space, I stumbled across season one of The Young Ones! I completely forgot I had this. I considered showing it to my nephew when he visits, since he might think it's cool. There are some scenes I'm unsure of, like when they first move into the house and Mike scatters lingerie all over his room and puts on a tape loop of a woman having sex. He's mature and watches some movies not meant for his age, but I don't want it coming from me, ya know? Anyway, this show is amazing and I'm totally going to watch all those videos later.
In other news, I ended up deleting the 5 part Randy Grief album I had. It's amazing and I'd really like to own a physical copy of it one day, but the file is huge and I hardly listen to it. It was a FLAC file and I'm sure there are some blogs out there with a compressed version.
And on a related note, I'm conflicted about purchasing some antique Alice books. They're quite an investment, but it's something I've been wanting to collect for a while and I even have a shelf where I can put them. In the meantime, I'll settle for some interesting pre-80's Alice memorabilia I've seen around EbaY.
Still on the second job hunt, unfortunately. There are some paying art assist gigs that I applied for recently and waiting for a reply. I really need to get my shit together and build a site for my portfolio. At this point it's kind of embarrassing I don't have one yet.
