So NIN madness is upon us once more as I mentioned in the previous post. The first round of sales were a mix of pre-sales and NIN.com exclusive sales for the NYC, Chicago and LA shows. First of all, I somehow got lucky and managed to grab one ticket to the FUCKING BOWERY BALLROOM SHOW. That place is so tiny.I was about to lose my shit in the office. My boss was laughing at me the whole time. I also got a ticket to the 8/25 Terminal 5 show. I felt really bad because I was on the phone with a close friend, who I met at the Atlantic City show, who did not get any tickets.
So later that day, I took a shot at the LA sales. I never traveled for any band. Never ever. It's an insane idea to me. I tried and failed. Didn't get anything. Now, the whole day my friends and I were talking back and forth on Twitter about the ticket madness. I posted that I wasn't going to LA. A second later my friend replies saying, "Oh yes you are. I have one extra." And yet another moment of almost losing my shit. My friend who I met at a Bjork concert got an extra for the Wiltern NIN show. Aweeesooome. It will be the second to last NIN show for a very long time.
A few days after that I booked my flight for LA and planned a week vacation to go kayaking with my brother further up in Santa Cruz.
So today is the ticketmaster pre-sale for two NYC shows and Chicago shows. I'm going to attempt to get tickets for the second Terminal 5 show, if only to get a ticket for my friend who couldn't get any NY tickets. Third chance is the public sale next Friday. Hmmm...time to break the internet again.
